Typhoon Metro Black 9-Cup Espresso Maker Review

These binos have a LATTE going for them!!!
Exquisite long-range sight capacity with that lingering, roasty, full-flavored rush rarely associated with birdwatching. Truly a must-have device for all outdoors activities (including stalking)that may also require caffeination. I did scald myself once or twice but if you use the (suggested) titanium based retinal pre-wash you should be good to go!

GAT Carmen 10-cup Stovetop Espresso Maker Review

GAT Carmen 10-cup Stovetop Espresso Maker

The functional and look of this product is good however the coffee made is not that up to my expectation.
I had return to the seller after two used. Mechanically is not well design, it will take some alignments every time you make coffee, the threats of the upper part and the lower part need to redesign for a better fit. The six cup filter is very flimsy. To sump it up: With the money you spend on this product, better to buy a Coucinox.

Stove-Top Percolator Review

Stove-Top Percolator

I bought a product in Canada (sold under the name "Copco") that looks just like this one. The price seems rather high by US standards; presently it's $40 in Canada. I tried another brand with a flip-up lid, instead of the snap-on lid that this one has. It spewed coffee over the stove.
I've experimented a lot with coffee: drip, French press, electric percolators. For the best taste, it's got to be a pump-driven espresso machine, or a stove-top percolator. With this one, start with the pump tube in the pot, and prepare about 1.4 litres of boiling water, and fill to the 8-cup level. DO NOT add the pump tube after you've added the boiling water, because the boiling water can squirt out through the relief vent on the base, causing a SCALDING HAZARD! Add 7 scoops of freshly opened coffee (Do not store coffee in an air-tight container in the fridge; store it in an air-proof container in the freezer: stuff plastic bags into the can, or small glass jar, to displace the air). Next, put the percolator on a ceramic or coil burner, at high for one minute to get the percolation going, and then at low thereafter. The time: 17 minutes!! Yes, to get that really perky taste, that's how long it takes - no more, no less. If you cover the pot with a tea cozy (made of oven mitt materials) you usually won't need a microwave for re-heating. Use lots of sugar and 18% MF cream - you'll enjoy every slurp!

Imusa Espresso Coffeemaker, 6 cup Review

Imusa Espresso Coffeemaker, 6 cup
Average Reviews:

The instructions do not tell you exactly when the coffee is done and when to turn off the heat. The plastic parts melted the first time I used it. I am a do-it-yourself type, so I bought a metal knob and some flat aluminum to fashion a new handle. Now it is better than new. It makes great espresso, but the instructions are little help. What the instructions should say is when the top fills with espresso and steam stops coming out of the spout, it's time to turn off the heat. It was well worth the discount price I paid. However, in hindsight, I would not buy one with plastic parts.

Bialetti Moka Express 9-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker Review

The Bialetti Moka Express 3-Cup Coffeemaker is fantastic. I enjoy it immensely. Word of warning, don't forget to put water in it before placing on the stove! And if you have a gas stove with an open flame, do not use a flame that exceeds the size of the coffeemaker. The handle will melt.
